There was an Episcopal Church service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Keokea, Kula, Maui on March 11th. Afterwards there was a dinner with an opportunity for friends and family to share stories, photos, music and more.
Many mahalos to those who were able to be with us that Saturday. For those friends who did not get word or were not able to attend but would like to share some quality time with us, please reach out as we gradually emerge from our cocoon.
There has been much remembering on Facebook where Jesse had many friends starting on the day we learned of his passing on January 17. This includes a celebration of Jesseʻs life in Osaka that took place on January 29th. Jan and I were also able to participate via video call at the Buddhist Ceremony and Cremation in Hikone on January 20th – Japan Time.
